Seattle – For the third time in as many games, Utah Valley University forward Rebecca MaWhinney scored in double digits and the UVU women’s basketball team stretched their winning streak to three games Thursday with a 61-44 win over Western Athletic Conference foe Seattle University.

The Wolverine defense was suffocating as Seattle shot just under 29 percent on the night and only 21 percent from beyond the arc. Seattle won the rebound battle 39-36 but had a hard time taking care of the ball as UVU forced 21 turnovers.
