Over this past weekend, The Dew tour returned to Salt Lake City to give Utah residents a front row seat to one of the most exciting action sports events ever to hit the Salt Lake Valley. From Sept. 17-20, Utahns had the opportunity to come to the Energy Solutions Arena to witness death-defying stunts on skateboards, BMX bikes and dirt bikes. Throughout this four-day event, major sponsors of the tour like Playstation and Nike came and provided entertainment with numerous contests and prizes.

Dew Tour brought out some of the biggest names in extreme sports. In attendance and competition, were skateboarding legends Bob Burnquist, Andy Macdonald and Bucky Lasek. Lasek took the spotlight as he won skateboard vert finals. Superstar BMX rider Jamie Bestwick proved to the Utah crowds why he is still one of the best; winning in BMX vert finals. Utah’s own local skateboarder Adam Dyet also came out and gave a show to the hometown crowd.

The Salt Lake City tour ended with a Freestyle motocross jam session where top motocross riders showed off their best tricks including gravity-defying back flips and maneuvers, all done over three stories high.

The tour itself is a five-month long tour from June thru Oct. and is held in a different city each month. Salt Lake City was fortunate to be the fourth stop on the tour. The next and final stop will be in Orlando, Fla. Oct. 15-18.
