The following events are written as reported by UVU Police, compiled by Mallory Black, News
Editor.

3/2/2013, 12:42 p.m. Medical Emergency
Medical response to the Grande Ballroom involving a 12-year-old female that had taken a bite of
a cookie that contained nuts that she did not know about. The female said that she had a peanut
allergy, was panicked and had a feeling of a scratchy throat.

3/3/2013, 5:21 a.m. Assist Other Agency
I responded to 800 West University Parkway on a request from the Orem Police Department to
assist other officers on a traffic stop. Upon arriving, I assisted in taking a male suspect that had
resisted arrest into custody. I also assisted with identifying a narcotic located on the suspect’s
person.

3/5/2013, 11:52 a.m. Suspicious Person
I responded to the library on a report of people playing Monopoly in the elevator. I found two
people playing Monopoly for a class project. They were advised to stop. They picked up their
game and left the area. No further action was taken.

3/5/2013, 2:48 p.m. Theft
Officer was advised of a bike that was stolen from the bike rack under the walkway between the
LA building and the library. The bike was a special mountain bike, valued at over $1,500. Video
footage of the area was able to see a suspect take the bike and leave. Report taken at this time.

3/5/2013, 8:10 p.m. Suspicious Person
Officer was called to an intoxicated male in the parking lot between the bus stop and the
Browning Administration building. Officer later found the drunk male at McDonald’s on the
ground. Officer was able to find where the man was staying in Provo at which time he was taken
to this address in Provo.
