Murnau, has been chosen to perform in the Kennedy Center American College Theater Festival in Los Angeles. Nosferatu will perform again in UVU’s Ragan theater this week in preparation for the festival.

He found a new idea for a story during the frenzied media publicity of the World Chess Championship game in 1972.

Reading Time: 2 minutes Producing Chess is an ambitious choice, even for venues with funding and resources that greatly outnumber those available at UVU. Therefore, the UVU theater department’s choice to put on the show seemed pretty shocking. Chess, written by MAMMA MIA composers Bj?rn Ulvaeus and Benny Andersson, along with lyricist Tim Rice, is filled with taxing vocals for both the ensemble and leading characters.

Reading Time: < 1 minute Utah Valley University Clubs is hosting a fundraiser All-Nighter event Jan. 30 in the Student and Activities center from 9 p.m. to 3 a.m. Proceeds will be given to the various clubs on campus that help to host the event. Kyle Brown,Vice President of UV Clubs, said that the proceeds will be divided by the man hours the different clubs volunteer during the night, so the more people who come, the more money the clubs receive.

But I have to respectfully disagree and claim that Nimrod is the album that proves the band’s importance. Although the tacky track, “Good Riddance (Time of Your Life)” is probably the only track on the album still getting airplay, the album truly has some good tunes that were reluctantly looked over.

The one-woman musical was written by Cedar Hills composer and playwright Steven Kapp Perry for his wife, Johanne Frechette Perry, about his great-great-great grandmother. Polly encompasses one woman’s entire lifetime of memories in two acts.
