Thunder pick up first win over New Mexico

Reading Time: 2 minutes The Utah Valley Thunder picked up their first franchise win after coming back from a 12-point deficit and scoring 32 unanswered points, leaving the New Mexico Wildcats in the dust, 55-34 in the McKay Events Center. The Thunder found that they were in a hole early, but managed to dig out starting with defense, headed by veteran Antar Brame and rookie Duane Paul, which halted the Wildcats’ air attack.

Wolverines get one win in doubleheader

Game one started with Utah State stepping up to bat first and scoring a quick two runs as the Wolverines followed with one run in the first inning and sophomore Megan Woodworth hitting a home run to get the game going.

His 8-year $31.65 million contract suggests, contrary to Calipari’s opinion, that he is the “Man” in Lexington and the coach who is expected to quickly resurrect the Wildcat basketball program.
