This invitational will take them through the remainder of their season, which will go through the end of this semester.

With the first half of the women’s softball season complete, the Wolverines 2009 season sits at 10-15.

UVU began the LMU Invitational at the beginning of this month. This invitational will take them through the remainder of their season, which will go through the end of this semester.

The LMU Invitational began in Los Angeles, California and consisted of five games over a three-day period. Game 1 was against Loyola Marymount and UVU came away with a 6-5 win. Games two through five in LA against Seattle University and St. Mary’s all ended in loses.

After UVU’s four-game loss, they traveled to Idaho for six games in Caldwell and Boise and left Idaho with four-of-six wins.

The Wolverines then returned home and began the 16 games they’ll play at home before returning to the road.

In the last week and a half, the UVU women have taken on Northern Colorado in four games, taking one win, and against Boise State for two games taking also one win.

UVU will battle Utah State in two games and Houston Baptist in four games at home this week.
