Coffee shops are especially difficult to come by in Provo and Orem. Of course, there are the many cafés within book stores and restaurants that offer coffee, but in these caffinated enclaves, the nature of the coffee shop experience is lost.

For an ideal experience, there are a few coffee shops which are equally different and delicious in their own way. From major chains to locally-owned shops, there is something in the area to satisfy everyone’s coffee fix.

Starbucks Coffee

Is always a good choice, being the largest and leading coffeehouse chain in the world, which continues to bring its customers Seattle’s best coffee, as well as a number of other drinks and treats, fast and efficiently.

Hours: 5:30 a.m. — 11 p.m. Monday through Friday, 6 a.m. — 11 p.m. Saturday and Sunday.

Coffee Pod and Simple Foods

Serving simple but delicious foods such as a veggie bowls, chips and salsa, cheese and crackers, soup, cupcakes, pastries, bagels, muffins, coffee other hot and cold drinks. Coffee Pod’s organic, healthy and tasty foods and drinks along with free wireless internet, make it a great place to go to study, hang out and eat.

Juice ‘N Java

Sit down and relax, study or get going. Its drive-through and fast service is good for grabbing a bite on the go and its free wireless internet makes it a great place for studying.

Although their 12 oz. beverages are a bit more pricey, their interesting and original mixes,

roasts, blends and juices are worth the few extra dollars.

Hours: The drive-through is open 6:30 a.m. — 10 p.m. Monday through Saturday, 8 a.m. — 8 p.m. Sunday. The lobby area is open 7 a.m. — 10 p.m. Monday through Saturday, 8 a.m. — 8 p.m. Sunday.

Buns ‘N Brews

Its quaint location among the historical and scenic aspects of Provo, along with its low-priced menu, including an assortment of breakfast paninis, bagels, muffins, and other snacks as well as hot and cold drinks makes it a great place to enjoy your day.

Art City Coffee

This coffeehouse is true to its name, featuring performances by local musicians as well as an array of artwork on display by local painters and sculptors. You can enjoy artwork and entertainment as you eat and enjoy gelato, smoothies, hot drinks and everything else this establishment has to offer.
