For those of you that have always wanted more fruits and vegetables on campus, there is finally a place where you can get quick, healthy food.

In the hallway between the PE and LA buildings, there is now a privately owned franchise of Jamba Juice with healthy blended beverages, juices and snacks.

Though the franchise has been open for nearly three weeks, the grand opening celebration was held Oct. 22 and was attended by President Holland, staff members, board members, Jamba Juice employees and students.

Steve Bracken, owner of three other Jamba Juice franchises understands how hard it is to get fresh squeezed nutrition on the fly. He and his staff work hard to get customers in and out in three minutes.

“The fact is we don’t get enough fruits and vegetables in our daily life,” said Matt Guinn, general manager of the UVU Jamba Juice store. “Jamba has figured out a way to help you do that.”

With only 15 employees the store has a line nearly all day long. “We have done really well,” said Bracken.

Keep an eye out for seasonal flavors released quarterly. Right now try out the Pumpkin Smash which according to student Jordy Kirkman, “tastes exactly like a pumpkin.”
