Pedestrian safety tips

Because two pedestrians were hit by a car on campus this past week, UVU Review has compiled a list of pedestrian and driver tips:

Pay attention to your surroundings.
Hold hands while crossing the street.
Look both ways before crossing a road.
Do not jaywalk: use sidewalks and crosswalks.
Do not talk on your cell phone while driving.
When driving, stop for pedestrians waiting at crosswalks.
Do not put on makeup while driving.
Do not eat and drive.
Go the speed limit.
