    Selling Socialism

Bernie and Hilllary, the Left, are selling Socialism. And some people are fully excited about it. Why all the sign waiving and excitement over Socialism? Some people have no concept of what Socialism really is—.
If you want a glaring example of Socialism, look at Cuba, land of oppression, dissident imprisonment and thousands of people who risked or lost their lives trying to escape. You want Cuba here in America? A precursor to Communism?
For those unaware, Socialism is founded on the doctrine of Karl Marx “from each according to his ability, to each according to his need.” Sounds fine, but in reality it is control, control, control by a strong, small governmental elite. Government controls every facet of your life from birth to death on a dole level.
The heart of Socialism, according to Marx, determines that everyone should get an equal share of the wealth and should give “their fair share.” In a full Marxist society there are no private property rights. Businesses are ultimately nationalized. (Consider Cuban life here in America. Sounds wonderful doesn’t it—or China where everything is under government control). Goods produced in it are distributed equally among the citizens. Socialism is a system that depends on all individuals agreeing to work towards the common good of its community. Under this system, those who work the hardest must be satisfied with rewards equivalent to those with lesser abilities, and those who don’t work hard at all. In the real world this system does not work because many of us would just like to better our conditions based on our individual effort, not by what we are dependently doled out by the government. Socialism creates minimal private sector jobs and a fully expanded government jobs for control.
Churchill aptly described Socialism as “a philosophy of failure, the creed of ignorance?and the gospel of envy.? Its inherent virtue is?the equal sharing of misery.”
“The trouble with Socialism is that eventually you run out of other people’s money.” -–Margaret Thatcher?
No! This is America! Land of the FREE! Giving you the right to become you—a full expression of you, not the Government. Socialism has no rightful place in America. Too many brave men and women in too many lands and here in America have given their lives to preserve it. Don’t be deceived by the glamour and sign waiving. The Founding fathers explicitly warned us of this threat and we now are entering this threat.
By contrast, the Constitution allows the incentive system to flourish—to be able to start a small business and unfettered or overly regulated, it will become whatever it can worldwide. It is the only social system that rewards merit, ability and achievement, regardless of one’s birth or station in life. It sparks that man or that woman, the entrepreneur, with unlimited drive, initiative, insight, energy, daring creativity, optimism and ingenuity, thus creating wealth.
Wake up America. Wake up!!! Otherwise, we are about to lose our absolutely most precious freedoms, without even a fight, by misleading, silken sophistry and big banners. Why would WE ourselves defeat the great miracle that is this country?
