Wolverine’s Late Inning Struggles Continue

UVU’s baseball team took on BYU March 13 in their first game back in Utah. After a hot start and a few early leads, the Wolverines could not hold on and lost 9-3. Kaden Schmitt started on the mound for the Wolverines and gave them a strong five innings of work. He struck out three batters and only gave up two runs off three hits. Men’s basketball wins CBI opener over Eastern Washington 87-65

Photo by Cameron Hunsinger UVU’s College Basketball Invitational first round game was expected to be a close one because the team  faced an Eastern Washington team that has won 17 of their last 23 games. UVU needed to recover from their semi-final WAC tournament loss from the week before, so there was no question things would be intense inside the UCCU Center.
