The Cougars were able to continue their success against UVU as the pitching got rattled in the mid-week match-up and the Wolverines lost 8-3. Friday Jackson Cofer was able to take the mound for the Wolverines. UVU opened up the scoring in the first inning with two runs from Jackson Overlund and Nick Simmons, who hit them in.
