Student body officers ‘Ignite’ review of campaign commitments

UVUSA will soon be holding elections for the next year’s student body officers. These positions include student body president, vice president of academic senate, vice president of clubs, vice president of activities, and executive vice president.  Throughout the next few weeks, UVU will be voting for student body officers for the upcoming school year. Fighting back

The month of October wasn’t only for frights and scares but also served as breast cancer awareness month. The most common type of breast cancer is Ductal Carcinoma, an uncontrolled growth of cells within the breast ducts that can be invasive if not correctly treated when discovered.   UVU’s Student Alumni and UVU’s Student Association did a great job in putting together some activities for the student body!   Monday the 26th: Freshman Convocation.   Tuesday the 27th: BBQ in the courtyard.   Wednesday the 28th: Wolverine Wednesday and True Wolverine.   Thursday the 29th: MAWL BBQ, Fan Day and a movie night.   Friday the 6th: Green Out Dance. Suicide loss program looks to help more students

Breathe: Suicide Loss Support Group is working to support those on campus who have lost loved ones to suicide. Wade Haskell founded this group back in February 2012.  Haskell has personally been affected by suicide loss, but he got through the struggle with the help of a group exactly like the one he founded at UVU. The goals of the group are simple. First and foremost, Haskell wants to prevent suicide. “It’s really important to know that most suicides are preventable,” Haskell said, “partly because most people who die by suicide suffer from [the] serious but very treatable disorder,...
