The Utah Valley University Police Department responded to a suspicious package at 4:15 p.m. at the Woodbury Business building on UVU campus. Police moved the package to the southeast lawn and evacuated one classroom to another part of the building.

The Utah County Bomb Squad responded with a robot to X-ray the package and determined that it was not explosive. They left the package with campus police. UVUPD believes the package was a chemical packed in dry ice, mistakenly delivered to the wrong building. Police gave the building the all-clear and classes resumed at 5:40 p.m.

UTA buses were temporarily rerouted during the hour of the incident as a precaution.
