Celebrities galore at Comic Con 2014

The second day of Salt Lake Comic Con 2014 had a wide variety of panels that guests could choose to attend.

Smallvillle fans filled the north ballroom to listen to Michael Rosenbaum, who played Lex Luther on the popular television show.

Since he felt like he was on “the Titanic” when he was standing on the platform, Rosenbaum answered questions while walking around the room. He sat next to random people, walked up and down the aisles, stood on chairs and gave the camera guy an adventure trying to keep up with his constant moving around. Between the laughter and the excited fares, it was apparent that the audience loved his interactions.

Alan Tudyk, best known for his role as Wash in Firefly and Duke of Wellington in Frozen, was also a popular celebrity panel.

He had three fans at a time sit on the stage with him and he would ask each one of them a question in exchange for answering their question. He would then pull an item out of his bag of stuff, sign it and give it to the fan.

There wasn’t an open seat in the south ballroom during the panel for Patrick Warburton, who played as David Paddy on Seinfeld, Kronk in Emperor’s New Groove and Joe Swanson on Family Guy.

He was “flabbergasted” at the amount of people in attendance. Warburton said that other than promoting events at San Diego Comic Con, this was his first Con.

To celebrate the 10th anniversary since Napoleon Dynamite came out, Jon Heder and Efren Ramirez got together for a reunion panel. Header showed off some of his dance moves, especially when a young fan challenged him to a dance off.

One girl referenced the film by asking Header if he had any tots in his pocket. Upon searching his pockets he discovered some chapstick, another movie reference, which the audience loved.

There was a variety of cosplay for day two. Some favorites were: Mad Hatter from Alice in Wonderland, Megatron from Transformers, Emmett from The Lego Movie, Stay Puft Marshmallow Man from Ghostbusters and a whole family dressed as The Incredibles.
