Park City, Utah (June 4, 2013) – Families and individuals looking for some high-flying action need not look any further, as the Flying Ace All-Stars Freestyle Sunday Show kicks off the summer seasonJune 9, 2013 at Utah Olympic Park on a new day and time.  The Flying Ace All-Stars Freestyle Show will be held every Sunday at 1:00 P.M. from June 9 through September 1, 2013.

The Flying Ace All-Stars Freestyle Sunday Show presented by Montage Deer Valley features top Olympic and World Champion skiers, snowboarders, and acrobats in an electrifying performance unlike any other.  These fearless athletes slide down steep inclines at speeds up to 35 miles an hour, then launch up to 60 feet into the air before landing in the 750,000 gallon, state of the art pool below.  With as many as 12 athletes in the air at one time performing freestyle and aerial flips, twists, and turns, the show leaves onlookers breathless.

Freestyle skiing legend and Olympian, Kris “Fuzz” Feddersen produces and usually emcees the 30-minute choreographed show with high-energy music.

“Many of the athletes that will be training and performing this summer in our Flying Ace All-Stars shows will be competing in February’s Games in Sochi,” said Fuzz Feddersen. “Getting a chance to see these athletes perform and meet them after a show is very unique, you don’t have a chance to meet future Olympians and get a signed poster on a regular basis at any venue in the world.”

Tickets for the show are $10 for adults and $5 for youth (ages three to 12) and seniors (ages 65 and over). Children age two and under are free.  Tickets can be purchased day of show at the Guest Services Desk in the Quinney Welcome Center.

For those wishing to be a part of the high-flying action, the Utah Olympic Park also offers Summer Fly Freestyle Intro Clinics for $95 and private lessons for $175.  In just two hours, participants of all ages with no prior ski experience can learn to freestyle jump into the Park’s unique splash pool.  The intro clinics focus on basic freestyle skills with practice time on the trampolines with the ultimate goal of taking on the ‘mini ramp’ into the Olympic freestyle pool.

The Fly Freestyle private lessons are for those looking to take on the ‘single ramp’ used as part of the Flying Ace All-Stars Sunday Show.  The private lessons for both skiers and snowboarders are tailored to the individual’s skill level and include training on trampolines, a run on the ‘mini ramp,’ ultimately progressing to a run on the ‘single ramp.’  Advanced reservations are required and can be made by calling 435.658.4206.
