But students have paid good money to be able to park near campus, and the fact that they can’t is the issue. The ‘privilege’ isn’t given for free.

At least they have it. Try showing up earlier if you want a spot. You’re not guaranteed a spot, you are given the privileged of parking there… eventually.

Also, you should probably look up the facts about BYU parking, Drew. There are multiple lots within a 5 minute walk of campus, I walk them every day.
