Wolverine baseball started off with a bang. The first two games of a four-game series the season couldn’t have gone better. The Wolverines took both games of the double-header on Friday. “It’s good to finally see our players come out and swing it the way we thought they were capable of all year” UVU coach Eric Madsen said. “(Jake) Rickenbach had those two triples, but his biggest hit of the day came in the first game with a two-RBI single when the game was tied 4-4. That just gave him confidence. I thought our pitching was outstanding, and that all of our guys pitched out of some tough spots.” The Wolverines are back in action Monday and Tuesday vs. St. Johns, both starting at 6:00 p.m.
