The UVU School of Continuing Education received an American Chariot from Klune Industries, Inc. The presentation of the gift took place on Aug. 7.

The donation, an American Chariot, is a new three-wheeled personal transportation vehicle manufactured by Klune and was donated to help staff members travel between their offices and the main campus.

The donation from Klune comes as appreciation of their partnership with the school of continuing education, which provides training for Klune’s management and manufacturing employees.

Klune Industries, Inc. is a California-based manufacturer of parts for commercial and military aircraft and missile systems with two facilities in Spanish Fork, Utah.

“Klune’s Utah manufacturing facilities have about $80 million in annual revenues,” said Diana Hunter in a press release. Hunter is the assistant dean for the UVU School of Continuing Education. “This is their first donation to UVU. It’s a brand-new product and very nice. We are excited to have the chariot to get around campus.”
