Celebrate the season in downtown Provo

Downtown Provo is the place to go this holiday season. There are several events planned, with more in the works.

Many of this season’s events are at the new Covey Center for the Arts on Center Street, which opened earlier this year.

Mark your calendars for these upcoming events:

Nov. 26, 6 p.m. – "Lights On" Ceremony, 351 W. Center St.

Nov. 26, 6 p.m. – Candy Window Unveiling, various locations along Center Street

Nov. 27, 7:30 p.m. – Utah Valley Youth Symphony* (free admission)

Nov. 30 – Christmas Dance Concert* (free admission)

Dec. 1, 10 a.m. – Christmas Parade, 500 West to University Ave on Center Street

Dec. 1, 7:30 p.m. – Messiah Sing-In*

Dec. 4-6, 7:30 p.m. – Utah Valley Symphony Christmas Concert*

Dec. 7, 7:30 p.m. – Utah Premiere Brass*

Dec. 8, 7:30 p.m. – Craicmore: Celtic Yuletide Celebration*

Dec. 13-22, (various times) – Utah Valley Regional Ballet: THE NUTCRACKER
